Please consider ordering a maintenance service contract from AT&T
at the time you order your new phone service. This will eliminate
potential resident expense if there is ever a problem with your
telephone service. Without a maintenance contract from AT&T, AT&T
will only maintain telephone lines up to the exterior of the property.
Should the problem be inside the property, there is an extraordinary
fee for their service. Unfortunately, it requires a phone company
to determine the source of the problem and thus the service fee
may be charged to you. This is NOT reimbursed by the Landlord. A
maintenance service contract will eliminate this potentially confusing
and expensive situation.
